At midnight tonight it was Tim's 21st birthday so a big group of us went down to Darling Harbour to help him celebrate. Darling Harbor is one of the world's leading waterfront leisure and entertainment destinations. It is a harbour that is adjacent to the city center of Sydney and has a large recreational and pedestrian precinct. It is named after Lieutenant-General Ralph Darling, who was Govenor of New South Whales (NSW, the states I live in). It was originally part of the commercial port of Sydney housing railways, freight consolidation, and more but then it was recommended that the center was inefficient and should be moved and the land used for other public purposes and it was.
We ended up going to this really fun bar right on the water called Docks. We got there early so we did not have to pay a cover charge and we were able to snag our own couch area. To top the evening off they had a fireworks show that was beautiful and so fun to watch and help Time celebrate his 21st.
