Last Day Before I Leave

As most of you already know I am studying abroad in Sydney Australia at Macquarie University. I have had an extremely long christmas break due to the different seasons over in Australia. They are just now finishing up their summer vacation and about to start their school year.

The time has finally come where I am only one day away from embarking on a 15 hour flight to start my adventures. After about a week of packing repacking packing and repacking I finally got my 2 bags down to 50lbs each my carryon to 15lbs and have everything ready to go. (I dont know how my sister fit her life into one bag for 8 months of living I give you huge props)

This morning I got to have coffee with Jennifer Newton and her two kids Haley and Wyatt before I had to run a few last minute errands and then it was off to LAX to pick up one of my good friends from Marquette, Natasha Hannah, who will be studying abroad with me. She is from chicago so she flew in a day early and we will be flying out on the same flight together tomorrow night. I am so happy that I will have a traveling buddy : )

After picking up Natasha of course we had to give her a little tour of the OC since she had never been down to this part of California before. We showed her all around San Clemente including Del Mar, the pier, North Beach, we drove down PCH and for dinner we went to In-n-Out. After dinner we caught up on some of our tv shows took a jacuzzi and it was off to bed.
