In Flight!!

Boarding the flight we found the theme from where we checked our bags earlier was continued on in the plane. There was very dimmed purple/blue lights, the seats looked like they had patterns from the 70s and the flight attendants looked like dolls. It was very colorful and fun.

The flight was not full so there was a lot of open seats and it was only Natasha and I in our row. We were told we couldn’t change seats till after we were in the air so tash and I devised a plan that we’d snatch the open row right near us so we could both sprawl out and be able to sleep. Well lets just say we got a little to into our movies that we began watching at take off that by the time we realized we could move all the spots were taken so we unfortunately didn’t get our own rows. After watching a movie they served us a dinner and we had 3 options to choose from (I choose the chicken, the other two were some kind of pastas)

I watched one more movie then took a sleeping aid. Thank god I took the sleeping aid or I don’t think I would have gotten any sleep at all. Due to the fact that we were sharing our row and we both wanted to lay down we ended up in interesting positons that would seem impossible to fall asleep in and I was constantly tossing and turning. I think I may have gotten a total of 4 hours of sleep which is better than nothing at this point. Two hours before we were to land in Sydney they ‘woke’ us up and served us breakfast. We had a choice between French toast or an omlete. I went with the omlet. During these last 2 hours I was able to sneak in one more movie and next thing I knew we were landing.
