Franz Josef (April 24)

Our first stop of the day was at the Bushman's Center in Pukekura. This center gave us an insight into how people make a living on the cost through helicopter deer recovery and other things. We watched a video and then got to pet a Walabe and goat. They were so cute and soft.

Later we finally arrived into Franz Josef. It was a very small own but very cute. Due to large cracks in the glacier we were ony able to do a helihike to the glacier so we decided not to go. We walked around the town and found some good souveneres. We ended up havig dinner at the bar at the rainforest retreat where we stayed. This was a very nice hostel. After dinner we were awarded prizes for the costume party the other night. Elina ended up winning with her bunches of grapes outfit. She won a free canyon swing.
Hard to see the glaciers but they are there

Later that night they had a horizontal bungy contest. I teamed up with Joe Pearce. We had to get strappped into a harness and then run to the other end grab the beer run it back to our partner and they had to chug it. We did pretty well with 18 seconds but the winner won it with 13 seconds. It was a fun last night with Amanda elina Natasha and I to be together.
